IMPACT OF WECHAT-BASED "HOSPITAL-HOME" INTEGRATED HEALTH EDUCATION ON ATHLETIC PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC HEART FAILURE

Abstract

Objective: To explore the impact of integrated health education based on WeChat "hospital-family" on athletic patients with chronic heart failure. Methods: One hundred and forty athletic patients with CHF who were hospitalized in the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine from December 2019 to May 2020 were randomly divided into a control group (n=64) and an intervention group (n=65) according to the random number table method. The control group used the traditional preaching model, and the intervention group implemented the integrated hospital-family health education model based on WeChat. After 3 months of intervention, the self-efficacy, self-management ability, quality of life and exercise tolerance of the two groups were compared. Results: athletic Patients in the intervention group had significantly higher dry strength, quality of life and exercise tolerance (P< 0.05). Conclusion: WeChat-based integrated hospital-family health education can improve self-efficacy and self-management ability of CHF athletic patients, thus improving quality of life cardiac function.
