Abstract

Objective: To investigate the rehabilitation impact of Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction in combination with Banxia Houpu Decoction in combination with transcranial magnetic therapy on stroke athlete patients with sleep disturbances. Methods: The research subjects were 60 athlete patients with post-stroke sleep disorder (PSSD) who were treated at our institution between January 2019 and April 2022. A random number table approach was used to split them into two groups of 30 cases each: the control and observation groups. Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) was used to treat the control group, whereas Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction was used to treat the observation group. For four weeks, both groups were given Banxia Houpu decoction. The consequences on the body; Sleep quality index (PSQI) score for Pittsburgh Stroke Scale of the National Institutes of Health (NIHSS); The two groups' rates of adverse responses were compared. Results: The observation group's overall clinical effectiveness rate (76.67 percent) was considerably greater (P<0.05) than that of the control group (56.67 percent); The PSQI score of the two groups reduced considerably after treatment, and the PSQI score of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group (P<0.05); Prior to treatment, both groups showed substantial decreases in NIHSS scores, with the observation group showing a considerable drop in NIHSS scores compared to that of the control group(P<0.05); P>0.05 did not show any distinction between the two groups in the frequency of adverse responses. Conclusion: athlete Patients with PSSD benefit greatly from Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction, Banxia Houpu Decoction, and TMS when used in conjunction with each other. Without raising unpleasant responses, it may effectively increase clinical efficacy and sleep quality, as well as stimulate the recovery of brain function, which has high clinical reference value.
