Abstract
Objective: To investigate the application of doctor-nurse integrated nursing (DNIN) in head and neck cancer (HNC) patients and its clinical therapeutic effects. Methods: A total of 70 HNC patients were randomly divided into the treatment group and control group, with 35 cases in each group. Routine oncology nursing was performed in the control group, while DNIN was conducted in the treatment group, which consisted of a group of doctors and nurses who discussed, studied, and formulated treatment and nursing regimens based on the patients’ conditions. Mental state, quality of life, therapeutic effects and nursing satisfaction before and after nursing were compared between the two groups. Results: After nursing, mental state, quality of life, therapeutic effects and nursing satisfaction in the treatment group were significantly better than those in the control group (all P<0.05). Conclusion: DNIN can effectively ameliorate patients’ mental state, quality of life and nursing satisfaction, which has good clinical effects.
