Abstract

Purpose: This study investigates the impact of meticulous management on treatment outcomes and patient satisfaction in obstetric emergencies among female athletes, a group requiring special consideration due to their unique physiological and training demands. Methods: Fifty-two acute maternal cases from January 2021 to May 2022 at our hospital were analyzed. Using a random number table method, patients were divided into two groups: a control group (26 cases) receiving conventional management and an experimental group (26 cases) receiving meticulous management. Results: The meticulous management group demonstrated a significantly higher overall satisfaction rate of 96.15% compared to 65.38% in the control group (P < 0.05). Additionally, this group showed lower systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP), and heart rate than the control group (P < 0.05). The efficiency of emergency interventions was higher in the meticulously managed group at 92.31%, compared to 65.38% in the control group (P < 0.05). Furthermore, the complication rate in the meticulously managed group was significantly lower at 3.85% compared to 30.77% in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Meticulous management in the treatment of obstetric emergencies in female athletes significantly enhances treatment efficacy, reduces physiological stress, and improves patient satisfaction. These findings underscore the importance of tailored healthcare approaches that consider the specialized needs of athletes, particularly during critical situations such as obstetric emergencies, to optimize health outcomes and maintain athletic performance.
