Objective: To analyze the effect of high-quality nursing combined with psychological nursing on idiopathic central precocious puberty (ICPP). Methods: A total of 410 children with idiopathic ICPP treated in our hospital from May 2020 to May 2022 were selected for this study. The number of children who received high quality nursing intervention during treatment was 205, which were included in the observation group, and that of children who received conventional care intervention was 205, which were included in the control group. Compliance with medication was compared between the two groups, and patients’ behavior, mood, social competence and quality of life were assessed before and after treatment using the Achenbach Children’s Behavior Checklist (CBCL) and the Quality-of-Life Scale for Children and Adolescents (QLSCA). The six sex hormone tests, including follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinizing hormone (LH) and estradiol (E2), were also measured before and after treatment in both groups. After treatment, parents of children were surveyed for their satisfaction with the care. Results: The overall compliance rate was higher in the observation group than in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, depression, social withdrawal, hyperactivity, aggression, and discipline scores were lower in the observation group than in the control group, while QLSCA scores were higher than in the control group (P<0.05). Sex hormone levels decreased in both groups after treatment but were lower in the research group than in the control group (P<0.05). The results of the nursing satisfaction survey showed that the number of very satisfied people in the observation group was more than that in the control group, while that of people who needed improvement and were dissatisfied was less than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: High quality nursing and psychological nursing can effectively improve the treatment compliance and negative psychology of children with ICPP and improve their quality of life, which is important to promote the healthy success of children.
