Abstract

Objective: This paper reviews the impact of exercise training on pulmonary function in patients with chronic pulmonary diseases. Through systematic literature search and screening, the paper summarizes the positive effects of exercise training on patients' pulmonary function and quality of life and compares the effects of different exercise training methods. In addition, it explores the challenges faced by exercise training, such as patient participation, compliance issues, and training safety, and proposes corresponding solutions. The results show that exercise training can significantly improve pulmonary function indicators, such as vital capacity and FEV1, and help enhance patients' quality of life. The design and implementation of personalized exercise programs are considered key to improving patients' quality of life and pulmonary function. Future research directions include the combination of exercise training with other treatments and long-term follow-up studies of exercise training in patients with chronic pulmonary diseases.
