In order to investigate the influence of physical activity level on the health risk factors of the population, the article designs relevant experiments with 1,000 elderly people aged 50-60 years old in eight cities of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region as the research subjects. After a preliminary study on physical activity and body composition, the basic information, physical activity level and body composition data of the subjects were collected and tested through questionnaires, experimental methods and data statistics. The collected data were used for empirical analysis to deeply analyze the effects of different intensity of physical activity levels on body composition of Guangxi residents. The correlation between different levels of physical activity and various disease risk factors was analyzed by logistic regression model. Both low and moderate physical activity levels significantly reduced the percentage of body fat in obese elderly, while sedentary and high physical activity levels had no significant effect. Replacing sedentary and low physical activity levels with low and moderate physical activity levels of 30 min/d for the same period of time can reduce the percentage of body fat by 0.562 and 1.168, respectively. There is no correlation between the level of physical activity and the prevalence of overweight/obesity in the elderly, but there is a significant correlation between the prevalence of hypertension and hyperlipidemia. High levels of physical activity were effective in reducing the risk of hypertension. Both moderate and high levels of physical activity were effective in reducing the risk of dyslipidemia.
