Sanshou sport belongs to the skill-dominant category of fighting confrontation projects, and specialization training can play a vital role in developing athletes' competitive ability and improving physical quality. The article selected 30 male athletes from the SH youth sparring team as research subjects and divided them into experimental and control groups. The experimental group was divided into two groups, the control group and the experimental group. The experimental group combined core strength training with traditional strength training, and the control group only carried out traditional strength training, in order to compare the effects of youth strength training on promoting muscle development and immune function of sparring athletes. The results showed that the left- and right-hand grip strength of the experimental group increased by more than 8 kg (P=0.002<0.01), while the upper limb muscle strength of the control group increased by less than 1 kg. In the experimental group, the levels of IgA, IgG and cGMP were significantly lower than those of the control group (P<0.01), and the levels of IL-1β and TNF-α were significantly higher than those of the control group (P<0.01), but there was no significant difference in the comparisons of the two groups in terms of the levels of IgM and cAMP, as well as the ratio of cAMP/cGMP (P>0.05). Core strength training can significantly enhance the muscle strength of youth sparring athletes and effectively improve their immune function, which provides a reliable guarantee for improving the physical quality of youth sparring athletes.
