Abstract

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a neurological illness that progresses over time and is the primary cause of dementia in the elderly, and its incidence rate has been rising in recent years, which has become an important public health problem. Due to the unclear etiology and complex pathological mechanisms of AD, emphasizing early identification, timely diagnosis, and early intervention are key strategies for prevention and treatment. This article intends to review the research progress in early neuroimaging diagnostic techniques, optical imaging, and 123I iodobenzylguanidine myocardial imaging for Alzheimer's disease in recent years.
