Objective: To evaluate the therapeutic efficacy of clindamycin phosphate combined with exercise-based therapy in managing pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) and its impact on clinical recovery, inflammatory markers, and patient satisfaction. Methods: A total of 90 patients diagnosed with PID and treated at our hospital were randomly assigned to two groups: the study group, receiving clindamycin phosphate combined with exercise therapy, and the reference group, receiving clindamycin phosphate alone. Clinical outcomes, including treatment effectiveness, blood rheological indices, symptom resolution times, serum inflammatory factors (TNF-α and IL-2), and patient satisfaction, were assessed and compared between the two groups. Results: The study group demonstrated a significantly higher total response rate (97.78%) compared to the reference group (86.67%) (χ² = 3.873, P < 0.05). Improvements in blood rheological indices were more pronounced in the study group (P < 0.05). Symptom resolution times were notably shorter (P < 0.05), with reduced TNF-α levels and increased IL-2 levels, indicating an enhanced anti-inflammatory response. Treatment satisfaction was also significantly higher in the study group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Clindamycin phosphate combined with exercise-based therapy effectively improves clinical outcomes, reduces inflammation, and accelerates recovery in patients with PID. Integrating physical activity into PID treatment protocols may enhance therapeutic results and promote overall well-being, making it a valuable approach in sports and rehabilitation medicine.
