Abstract

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Chuangling Liquid in reducing the expression of TLR2 and TLR4 in non-lactating mastitis wounds to inhibit the process of inflammatory reaction and to explore its mechanism of action in the treatment of non-lactating mastitis. Methods: Forty cases of non-lactating mastitis abscess patients admitted to the Breast Disease Department of the Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine from January 2022 to December 2022 were selected and randomly divided into 20 cases each in the treatment group and the control group. After the abscess was incised and drained, the control group was treated with physiological saline for cleansing and petroleum jelly oil gauze for drainage, and the treatment group was treated with Chuangling Liquid for cleansing of trauma and Chuangling Liquid Gauze for drainage. Comparison of the two groups before, after 1 week, and 2 weeks of trauma inflammatory symptoms scores; trauma granulation tissue IL-2, IL-6 content, and TLR2 and TLR4 expression. Results: 1. 1 week after treatment, the decrease in traumatic inflammation score of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group, in which the skin color change and pain improved significantly, reaching a statistical difference (p <0.05), while the scores of the nature of the exudate and the amount of exudate situation had a tendency to decrease and did not reach a statistical difference (p > 0.05). Two weeks after the treatment, the advantage of the scores of the treatment group was more obvious, in which the exudate volume reached a statistical difference (p <0.05). 2. 1 week after treatment, the decrease of IL-2, IL-6, TLR2, and TLR4 indexes was significantly better than that of the control group, reaching a statistical difference (p <0.05); 2 weeks after treatment, the decrease of IL-2, IL-6, TLR2, and TLR4 indexes was more significant. Conclusion: Soothing Chuangling Liquid inhibits the secretion of traumatic inflammatory factors based on reducing the expression of TLR2 and TLR4 in the traumatic surface of patients with non-lactating mastitis in the abscess stage, improves inflammation, and promotes healing.
