Abstract

Objective: To establish a scale of emergency response ability for post-stroke nurses and to test its reliability and validity. Methods: Literature review, semi-structured interview, Delphi expert consultation, pre-survey and other methods were used to construct a measurement tool of "emergency response capability model" based on the emergency response capability model. The reliability and validity of 556 apoplexy patients were analyzed by questionnaire, and the corresponding official version was compiled. Results: In this study, we developed a scale of 35 items and 5 dimensions of the ability of caregivers to cope with the emergency of stroke patients. Through exploratory factor analysis, the common factors extracted are consistent with the project attributes in the theoretical framework, and the cumulative variation contribution rate reaches 63.792%. The content validity and item validity of the scale were 0.780-1.000, respectively. Cronbach coefficient of the scale was 0.882. Conclusion: The scale is an effective and reliable measurement tool, which can be used in clinical nurses to evaluate the ability of emergency response after stroke.
