Abstract

The dietary and health culture in Avicenna's "Canon" has become the focus of research. Through an in-depth investigation into food preparation, this study reveals the document's methods for handling grains, fruits, and roses. The study on grains provides a detailed analysis of the production processes for barley and wheat, showcasing their unique processing techniques. The realm of fruits, the production of juice, jam, syrup, and candied fruit becomes a crucial component, highlighting the diversity and innovation in Avicenna's food processing methods. The research on roses concentrates on Avicenna's distinctive distillation process and the extraction of by employing technical methods, the study delves deeper into the connotations of dietary and health culture in the "Canon," offering a new perspective on understanding the historical value and cultural characteristics of this document. The investigation results demonstrate that the dietary and health culture in the "Canon" embodies rich wisdom, and that the "Canon" is a place where people can learn to live in a healthy and healthy environment. Providing valuable insights for the inheritance and development of contemporary dietary culture.
