Abstract

In recent years, in classroom learning between teachers and students, the tools for teachers to disseminate information mainly include verbal and non-verbal behavior. Long-term, detailed research on language behavior from macro to micro perspectives has been conducted, and these studies and results have played an important role in improving the artistry of classroom teaching efficiency and improving classroom teaching day by day. But another important channel of messaging – non-verbal communication – has been overlooked. Body language is an important means of information communication. The so-called body language ability of teachers is the ability of teachers to use body language to teach. It is an important part of the process of college teacher education, and also has important value in college education, and the body language of college teachers is often ignored in college education practice. On this basis, evaluating teachers' body language ability is of great significance for scientific educational practice, educational effect, optimization of educational atmosphere, and development of educational undertakings. In this case, this paper uses the AHP entropy-weighted TOPSIS method to evaluate the evaluation index system of body language ability of college teachers, and scientifically tests it through empirical research, and the results show that the body language skills of college teachers are within the normal level, but need to be further strengthened. It is necessary to improve the body language awareness of college teachers, strengthen the body language ability of college teachers and the ability to link theory and practical ability, so as to guide the body language education of college teachers.
