Objective: To explore the application value of time program nursing pathway in patients with carotid endarterectomy. Methods: 128 patients who underwent carotid endarterectomy in our hospital from January 2020 to June 2023 were divided into a control group and a study group. The control group received routine nursing, and the study group received time program nursing pathway on the basis of the control group. The clinical indicators, negative emotions, complications and satisfaction of the two groups were compared and analyzed. Results: The diastolic blood pressure and systolic blood pressure in the study group were lower than those in the control group, while the peak systolic and end diastolic flow velocity were higher (P < 0.05). The SDS and SAS scores of the study group were lower than those of the control group (P < 0.05). The total incidence of complications in the study group was lower than that in the control group (P < 0.05). The total nursing satisfaction of the study group was higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusions: In patients with carotid endarterectomy, the application of time program nursing pathway can improve the negative emotions of patients, reduce the incidence of complications, and help to improve nursing satisfaction.
