Objective: To explore the effect of Buerger exercise intervention combined with evidence-based nursing intervention on the incidence of infection and compliance of diabetic foot (DF). Methods: A total of 94 patients with DF admitted to our hospital from May 2020 to June 2022 were randomly divided into two groups (n=47). All patients were given evidence-based nursing intervention, and the observation group was combined with Buerger exercise on this basis. The intervention lasted for 3 months. The blood glucose, severity of peripheral neuropathy (TCSS score), treatment compliance and incidence of infection were compared between the two groups before and after intervention. Results: Compared with the control group, the levels of FPG and 2hPBG in the observation group were lower after intervention (P < 0.05). After intervention, the scores of each dimension of TCSS in the two groups decreased, and the scores of treatment compliance increased. Compared with the control group, the scores of each dimension and total score of TCSS in the observation group were lower, and the score of compliance was higher (P < 0.05). The secondary infection rate of ulcer in the control group and the observation group was 12.76% and 2.12%, respectively, and there was significant difference between the two groups (P < 0.05). Conclusions: Application of Buerger exercise intervention combined with evidence-based nursing intervention in patients with DF can effectively alleviate the severity of DF peripheral neuropathy, reduce the incidence of blood glucose and infection, and improve the treatment compliance of patients.
