Objective to observe the effect of internal fixation combined with vertebroplasty in the treatment of spinal fractures. Methods: 80 cases of spinal fractures were collected from January 2020 to December 2022. 40 cases (internal fixation surgery group): simple internal fixation surgery. 40 cases (internal fixation combined with vertebroplasty treatment group): internal fixation combined with vertebroplasty treatment. research effect. Results: the internal fixation combined with vertebroplasty treatment group condition recovery time, compared with the internal fixation treatment group [postoperative first weight-bearing time:(12.07±1.25)d vs. (16.78±2.39)d; hospitalization time (9.29±1.18)d vs. (12.87±2.55)d; fracture healing time:(12.79±1.46) weeks vs. (15.17±2.29) weeks], were shorter (p<0.05). After 3 months of treatment, the height ratio of the anterior edge of the injured vertebra and the height ratio of the posterior edge of the injured vertebra in the internal fixation combined with vertebroplasty treatment group were compared with the internal fixation treatment group [the height ratio of the anterior edge of the injured vertebra:(92.11±1.15)% vs. (81.48±1.28) %; The height ratio of the posterior edge of the injured vertebra: (92.14±1.19) vs. (82.12±1.22)% )%], were higher (p<0.05). After 3 months of treatment, the Cobb angle and spinal canal invasion rate of the internal fixation combined with vertebroplasty treatment group were lower (p<0.05) compared with the internal fixation treatment group [Cobb angle :( 10.54±1.08) vs. (15.44±1.12); Spinal canal invasion rate:(21.78±2.31) vs. (27.19±2.59) ]. The clinical efficacy of internal fixation combined with vertebroplasty in the treatment group was higher (p<0.05). The incidence of complications was lower in the group treated with internal fixation combined with vertebroplasty (p<0.05). After 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, 2 months and 3 months of treatment, internal fixation combined with vertebroplasty NRS score , respectively compared with internal fixation treatment group [(4.31±0.33) points contrast (5.39±0.41) points ;(3.84±0.25) points contrast (5.04±0.32) points ;(2.67±0.15) points contrast (4.58±0.21) points ;(2.15±0.13) points contrast (3.38±0.18) points ;(1.09±0.04) points contrast (2.31±0.19) points ], all lower (p<0.05). After 3 months, the ADL score and WHOQOL-BREF score in the internal fixation combined with vertebroplasty group were higher [(73.08±3.18) points, (72.11±4.15) points, compared with (65.48±3.28) points in the internal fixation group](p<0.05). Conclusion: Internal fixation combined with vertebroplasty in the treatment of spinal fractures, the effect is better.
