Abstract

Objective: To study the effect of using 3D printed transparent uterine model in standardized training of obstetrics and gynecology residents. Methods: 28 residents who attended standardized training in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Yan cheng First People's Hospital from December 2017 to December 2022 were selected as research subjects and randomly divided into experimental group and control group. The control group adopted the traditional teaching mode for skills training, and the experimental group adopted the 3D printed transparent uterine model teaching mode for skills training. After the training, the skill operation assessment was conducted, and the doctors of the experimental group evaluated the teaching mode of transparent uterine model. Results: The experimental group operation scores were higher than the control group and were statistically significant (P <0.05). The satisfaction evaluation of the teaching mode shows that the 3D transparent uterine model teaching mode is helpful to improve the learning interest and surgical confidence of the training doctors. Conclusion Integrating transparent 3D model teaching into the clinical teaching of obstetrics and gynecology can improve the operation skills of training doctors and students' teaching satisfaction and increase the confidence of students.
