Objective: This study aims to explore the alterations in serum β-CTX and PINP levels in athletic patients with endometrial cancer bone metastasis before and after radiotherapy, and to assess the prognostic significance of these changes. Methods: A cohort of 60 athletic patients diagnosed with endometrial cancer and exhibiting symptoms of bone metastasis, treated at our hospital between October 2021 and October 2023, were selected for analysis. Initial evaluation involved gathering comprehensive clinical data, followed by a comparative analysis of serum β-CTX and PINP levels pre- and post-radiotherapy. The efficacy of the treatment among these patients was subsequently assessed. Results: All 60 patients completed the prescribed radiotherapy course without any fatalities or emergency incidents. The treatment outcomes revealed complete remission in 30 patients, partial remission in 14 patients, and no change or disease progression in 16 patients, resulting in a treatment efficiency rate of 73.33%. Notably, post-radiotherapy, serum β-CTX and PINP levels significantly decreased compared to pre-treatment levels (P<0.05). This decrease was significantly more pronounced in patients who responded to treatment compared to those who did not, with no initial difference in serum β-CTX and PINP levels between these groups before treatment (P<0.05). Pearson analysis indicated a significant negative correlation between serum β-CTX and PINP levels and the effectiveness of radiotherapy (P<0.05). Conclusion: Monitoring serum β-CTX and PINP levels in athletic patients with endometrial cancer bone metastasis before and after radiotherapy provides valuable insights into the treatment's efficacy. These markers could serve as critical indicators for evaluating the therapeutic response, underscoring their significance in tailoring patient-specific management strategies
