Abstract

Objective: To survey the effect of interventional embolization on clinical efficacy and prognosis of patients with intracranial aneurysms (ICA). Methods: During February 2021 to February 2022, 104 patients with ICA cured in our hospital were enrolled. All patients in the control group were arbitrarily classified into the control and the observation groups. The patients in the control group were cured with craniotomy and clipping operation, and the patients in the observation group were cured with interventional embolization. The effective rate, surgical index, Glasgow outcome scale (GOS), comprehensive ability of daily living score and complications were compared. Results: The clinical therapeutic effect of the observation group was remarkably better (P<0.05). The time of operation and hospitalization in the observation group were remarkably lower (P<0.05). After treatment, the GOS score of the observation group was remarkably higher. At 2 weeks, 1 month and 3 months after treatment, the score of pre-ADL in the observation group was remarkably higher. The probability of postoperative complications in the observation group was remarkably lower (P<0.05). Conclusion: Interventional embolization for patients with ICA can remarkably enhance the efficacy of patients and reduce the incidence of complications, so it is worth popularizing and applying in clinic.
