Objective: This study evaluates the impact of computer-assisted teaching methods on the effectiveness of ideological and political education and the understanding of socialist development history among sports professionals. Methods: It integrates diverse teaching techniques and digital resources to create an engaging educational environment. By employing advanced educational technologies, such as virtual classrooms and interactive multimedia, the study aims to foster a deeper understanding and critical thinking among students in these subjects. Results: Preliminary findings indicate improved engagement and comprehension in ideological and political education. The use of interactive timelines, scenario-based learning, and online discussions has particularly enhanced students' grasp of socialist development history. Conclusion: The application of computer-assisted teaching methods has significantly enriched the educational experience in ideological and political domains, proving particularly effective in sports education environments where traditional engagement might lag.
