Objective: This study evaluates the integration of ceramic art and tourism within the context of sports and cultural development, assessing its impact on urban ecological health and economic growth, particularly focusing on benefits for the sporting community. Methods: Employing a mixed-methods approach, including a questionnaire survey, this research examines the fusion of ceramic art with tourism and cultural industries. The analysis centers on how this integration influences urban spaces in ways that could enhance sports and cultural development, measuring both economic impacts and contributions to urban green spaces. Results: Findings indicate a significant increase in tourism revenue, from $11,621,000 to $32,750,000, and a rise in the GDP contribution from 42% to 65%. This economic boost is coupled with improvements in urban ecological health, which contribute positively to the physical and recreational environments necessary for athletic training and events. The integration fosters greater community engagement and sports-related tourism, though it also presents challenges such as the need for sustainable management practices to balance growth with ecological preservation. Conclusion: Integrating ceramic art with tourism and cultural industries offers substantial opportunities for promoting sports and cultural development in urban areas. It not only catalyzes economic growth but also enhances the ecological landscapes that are vital for sports activities, contributing to a healthier, more vibrant urban environment for athletes and the community. Future strategies should focus on leveraging this integration to support sports development while ensuring the sustainability of urban ecosystems, thus nurturing a dynamic relationship between cultural heritage and athletic excellence.
