Abstract

Objective: To explore the effect of narrative nursing combined with stress counseling on psychological status and quality of life of lung cancer patients undergoing immunotherapy. Methods: 120 patients with lung cancer treated in our hospital from June 2021 to June 2023 were randomly divided into study group (n=60) and control group (n=60).Patients in the control group received stress counseling, while patients in the study group received narrative nursing on the basis of the control group. The health belief level, quality of life and psychological state of patients in the two groups were compared. Results: The scores of 5 domains and the total score in the study group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). After intervention, the scores of 8 dimensions of SF-36 in the study group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). The scores of SAS and SDS in study group were significantly lower than those in control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Narrative nursing combined with stress counseling can effectively improve the health belief level, psychological state and quality of life of lung cancer patients undergoing immunotherapy.
